Where did this all begin?

When I was twelve I was expressing to my mum that i wished i could have my friends over for a sort of party, even though it wasn’t my birthday.

she informed me i could host a “luncheon.”

“a what?” i inquired.

“a luncheon". It’s kind of like a fancy lunch” she explained.

and that’s where it all began.

at the tender age of twelve i discovered that i could host events whenever i wanted. Whenever i felt like it. i could have People over for good food and festivities for any of the other 364 days of The year when i Wasn't blowing out my birthday candles.

*fast forward a couple decades and I am now married with five children. which can sometimes feel like I am hosting a small get together 365 days of the year.
